For Southern Retreat RV Park: Place is a dump and smells like a sewer in certain spots but if you just need a place to plug in and rest for the night it'll do. The good thing is the convenience - it's right off the freeway. I guess that's how they get away with charging $40/night, which is outrageous for this place. I'm only here because they honor Passport America so I got the 50% discount.

For Southern Retreat RV Park: The park is an older park which could use some updates, but is a fine campground for a few nights. Location is great, wi-fi works, laundry facilities, and full hookups. IMO, they could use some fresh gravel for the gravel/mud pad and (right now without updates) I think is a little overpriced. But I would come back if in this area again.

For Southern Retreat RV Park: I respectfully disagree with the prior reviews, I found no problems staying here. Albeit it was for a one night weekday stay and I think the area is a bit impoverished, but as a northern city dweller, I appreciated the experience.
Office staff was very courteous, pulling in was easy and the area seemed safe and alright to me. There are a small number of full timers. I plan to soon stay again on my return to Ohio!

For Southern Retreat RV Park: The place is full of run down RVs and we did not feel safe. We went to another campground down the road.
