For Tallulah Gorge State Park: A pretty place with good hiking. The campground was fine, but the sites were too close for a state park atmosphere. We had a premium site, but I’m not sure I would have called it that. There was quite a variation among the sites, so know what you’re getting. Also, apparently on M-Th there is no one to check you in and we had to go to the visitors center, which is a mile away and was quite crowded. Not great when pulling a trailer.

For Tallulah Gorge State Park: Like most state parks it is a little tight for any 5ers over 35ft. I made it to our site with a little trouble but the sites are like a commercial park very close together. We are 38ft and the site was for 50ft so we r fine. It is an OK park.

For Tallulah Gorge State Park: Good state park campground. The sites are all gravel and relatively level. They all have a open grill, fire pit, electric (50/30/20) and water hook up. No at site sewer, but there is a dump station at the entrance. Pretty remote and clean.

For Tallulah Gorge State Park: Clean big bathrooms. Hot water. Friendly observant attentive camp hosts. Great hiking in State Park. Close to Clayton. Our sites 10 and 12 had lots of room BUT much road noise and it was windy. The road noise is disconcerting. But place was fun overall.

For Tallulah Gorge State Park: A quality state park. It cost $32 per night and most of the sites were very, very close to each other. First come first to pick their spot. Great hiking trails around the gorge. Two large bathhouses that were clean and comfortable, though they need to install hooks for people to set toiletry bags or towels. Great showers with strong warm water flow. I would return for another try if I need d to stay in the area.

For Tallulah Gorge State Park: One of the best state parks I have been to. Staff was absolutely outstanding.
