For KOA Holiday Des Moines West: Clean laundry area, very nice people, well maintained, easy level site. Exactly what we needed. Ok there was a lot of flys for some reason, but our kitten was very entertained by them.

For KOA Holiday Des Moines West: Everything was great except for the primitive camp area is all around the dog’s park….so the smell and the flies were just not something we enjoyed. 👎

For KOA Holiday Des Moines West: We stayed @ site 58, FHU, Pull through, 50amp, 7/15 -7/16. Site was large, nice spacing, level. RV door facing east so no hot afternoon sun. Nice dog parks, side by side fenced in about 100' square. Campground about 2 miles from I-80, 18 miles from Winterset, IA, John Waynes birthplace, also Bridges of Madison County are close. Large store, great selection, pool, playground, quiet. Could stay a couple days.

For KOA Holiday Des Moines West: One of the best KOAs we have ever stayed at! Well maintained and roomy, with two dog parks, fishing pond, swimming pool and play area for kids. Nicely graveled and our site 16 was long, level, wide and shaded by a large tree. Office stayed open until 9 pm and check in was friendly, fast and efficient. Local in a rural area, quiet with easy access from I 80. This was our second visit to this KOA and we look forward to staying there again when we come to visit friends in the Des Moines area.

For KOA Holiday Des Moines West: Easy and helpful reservations and check-in. Easy access from I-80. Clean park with nice amenities. Level sites with good hook ups. Two, clean, good sized, fenced dog parks and a big playground for the kids. Noticed they have a large inside meeting space for groups. We ordered their pizza for dinner and it was tasty. They have other choices including ice cream and there is a small store with cold drinks, etc.

For KOA Holiday Des Moines West: One of the nicest and cleanest KOAs we have been to and we have been camping over 30 years. We received a text message hours before we showed up asking if there was anything they could do to make our arrival any easier for us. They make pizza on site and offered to have it ready for us. The sites are gravel and spacious everything was clean. It looked like a fun time for kids. We will definitely be staying here again. The staff was great.
