For Cedar River Campground: Overnight sites are next to interstate—very noisy. Even reservations are not assigned a site. You pay and then drive around until you find one. Not a problem except only one electric hookup for every 2 W&E sites! Well shaded sites.

For Cedar River Campground: Stopped for one night. Convenient to I-80 and HWH Corporation. Honor system payment. Gravel road to campground. Paid for full hookup 50 amp. Pulled down the hill in to campground and couldn’t figure out where a 50 amp full hookup site was. No map. No markings. Extremely long grass. Many trees. Finally we just took a site that turned out to be 30 amp W&E. Didn’t care by that time. Cannot recommend unless you can sleep through anything— the road noise is deafening!!! We travel in a 41’ DP towing a car.

Laura

For Cedar River Campground: Location is what this campground is all about. Right off of I-80. Good for an overnight. Best priced I’ve paid...$32.50 for a pull through with full hookup & 50amp. That being said, I’ve never stayed at a campground with so much road noise. Like, if you are sitting outside, you’ll have to talk loud. We turned our AC fan on at night and weren’t bothered by the noise at all. Very clean pool.

For Cedar River Campground: Nice people here. Too close to I80. Had trouble sleeping due to the noise. Had a nice dinner in Tipton at family restaurant.

Mason

For Cedar River Campground: Decent access for a quick stop after a long day of driving. (Long gravel road)I had a site within 100 ft of the interstate and with a box fan and a/c running, was woken up several times by the noise. Friendly staff, pull through sites with some full hookups.
They make it easy to pay if you show up after hours. (Honor system). Try and get a site towards the back, very loud.

Maddie

For Cedar River Campground: Friendly and near highway. Traffic noise is bothersome, sites are close together and wi-fi weak. Area near river is nice.

Suzanne

For Cedar River Campground: Very nice place near the river. Big open areas to walk the dogs. Owners were very pleasant and helpful. It is right next to the interstate so you get some traffic noise, did not bother us.
