For Mcintosh Woods State Park: Very small, but very nice state park. Campsites are small but adequate. Typical Iowa state park bathroom/shower facilities. Very nice beach. HUGE and well-designed public access boat ramp area on Clear Lake. And the lake IS clear! Close to a somewhat busy road, so some road noise at times. RR tracks about a half mile away, so some train whistles as well. Easy to find - right off I35. Close to Buddy Holly crash site.
