B and D

For Timberline Campground: Shady, clean campground with country feel even though it’s close to the city. Friendly staff who want to make you happy. Leveling can be a bit of a challenge. We enjoyed looking for the covered bridges in nearby Madison County. Could have stayed longer!

Tish

For Timberline Campground: Super nice place, extremely friendly staff, beautiful town. We didn't even get to unhook, because we had to leave the next day, but would have loved to explore the area a little more.

Hunbay

For Timberline Campground: Nice facility. Friendly staff - not enough of them. After a long day, we arrived at 7 pm, had a reservation, took 45 minutes to get registered. Nice guy led us to site. We leveled , in the dark, then discovered that electric box was in use by neighbor. Back to the office to wait in line. Solution was to
leave site, re-enter & run cord to another neighbors
site, then level again. Lots of freeway noise, not a problem, that's why we carry ear plugs.

Roland

For Timberline Campground: Nice campground. Well maintained. Best pull throughs are water and electricity only (easy accesss to dump station). Some sites far from level. Very pleasant staff and a nice camp store.

Crbott

For Timberline Campground: Under new management as of 3 days ago. Owners were friendly. Beautiful campground. We are 40 ft and was able to maneuver ok. Sites are gravel and not level but that is why we all carry revelers anyway. Will definitely stay again on our way through.

Rambo

For Timberline Campground: This is an older park. The sites are narrow and tight for Big rigs, no place to park our tow. Lots of trees, very quiet. Nice pool and recreation room. A bit pricey even with the Good Sam Discount. They are close to the John Wayne museum/birth home. Plus a lot of covered bridges.

Ah1502

For Timberline Campground: I've stayed at RV parks all over the country and these are the worst sites I've ever seen. Way too small and ridiculously un-level. The lady checking me in saw that we were a full size pickup with a 38' 5th wheel (even commented on the size) and put me in a spot that wasn't close to fitting. We are only staying one night otherwise I really would have left. If I were me reading this, I would dismiss this review as it can't really be that bad; it really is!
