For Bucks Gas and RV: This campground is tough to rate since it's under new ownership and the newbies are not customer service oriented, and have a lot going on. It's a little confusing since the park has multiple names as it's changed hands 3 times over the past few years. So I have pros and cons to share.
Pros
Beautiful area across from Snake River
More affordable compared to Alpine and Jackson Hole area
Best sites in our opinion are 10-15
Well stocked store on site with gas and diesel - with decent prices!
The store has a great selection of beer and just about anything you might need that you forgot for your trip. Cons
New owners - not organized nor accommodating
Poor communication
No place to "check in" and had to request wifi password once owner showed up.
Learned from other campers there's actually a bath house with houses, but never knew the codes to access them. No matter, we have our own, but still - goes along with poor communication.
Requested 50 amp, got 30. When asked if we could move to an empty 50 amp site, was told it was promised to the next camper arriving. When they parked and set up, it was a 30 amp rig. Hmmm. . . One of the best sites (50 amp) in park had an empty Airstream on it used for marketing purposes.
Owner spent the majority of his time polishing an old airstream every day, all day long, very annoying noise, on top of not addressing other more pressing issues that I would have focused on being a new owner.
For instance, getting to know your park and the sites- which are 30 amp, which are 50 amp. The picnic area and fire pit looked like it could be really great if it were just cleaned up a little. We noticed a water leak and brought it to the owners attention. He said it was just run off from the sprinklers. Turns out it was a sprinkler line break, that was still not repaired when we left 5 days later. We mentioned to the maintenance guy to please let us know when the sprinklers were scheduled to run so we could move our furniture, grill, etc. And he said "Why worry about it? They're going to get rained on eventually" Well, I don't know about other campers, but when I see rain clouds, I put my items where they won't get wet when possible.
It's a shame because it has the bones to be a very nice park, if they would just focus on getting the park cleaned up. Instead of focusing all their energy on a few airstreams they're remodeling. Just my two cents. We camped at Buck's Gas and RV park in a Motorhome.

For Bucks Gas and RV: Would give 5 stars but getting out on two lane with hookup we grounds the hook. Just a little lip coming out of drive enough to cause a problem. Had to back up our class A and unhook and hook back down the street. Nice campsite though. The mountain behind was beautiful and trees were changing colors in July.

For Bucks Gas and RV: Nice quiet campground behind the station store. Some road noise but not bad. My space had good amount or room.
