For Torreys Burnt Creek Inn: This property is a mixed bag of issues. Owners are friendly enough, but as other reviewer correctly identified need to change their cancelation policy to one that is more customer oriented. The RV section is basically a converted horse pasture that sits on the highbank of the Salmon River with a fine view and quiet at night as the traffic dies down It’s fairly level and the utilities (electricity, water, and waste work well ( no WiFi). The earlier work ( several decades ago) to create the cabins on the adjacent pasture was a more complete effort as they come complete with shade trees throughout and a higher level of execution. The bathrooms are OK as they are clean and function well but are pretty basic and located in the cabin area so you need to walk to them. I think they actually need to pay more attention to the RV site as it seems to be paying the bills that the mostly empty cabins are not. The location as a launching pad is still very desireable and I would consider staying here again, but would hope the owners better cater to the needs of the RV by adding amenities that show they really do care.

For Torreys Burnt Creek Inn: Do not make advance reservations unless you are sure nothing in your life is going to change that may impact your trip. Our dog had an accident 2 weeks prior to our trip that required emergency surgery. We had to cancel our reservations. They would not refund any of our money. I could see if they charged a cancellation fee, but to keep all of our money was greedy. If you make reservations and then need to cancel, DO NOT call them. Don't let them make money by taking advantage of your misfortunes.

For Torreys Burnt Creek Inn: We stayed here for four or five days last summer (2015) and liked it so much we are going back this summer (2016) for an extended stay of two weeks. Located next to the Salmon River with great views of the river and surrounding forested mountains. Owners manage the park and are very helpful good people who live right across the street on there own ranch property. We originally tonight Highway 75 would produce lots of road traffic noise however the nights are very quiet so nice surprise.
