For KOA Journey Granite City: Don’t stay here if you can avoid it. It sits in an industrial park very close to the train tracks. Office staff were rude and unhelpful. Our receipt stated we had 30/50 electric, we only had 30. It’s a lot of money, $57/night for this place. It’s a dump!

For KOA Journey Granite City: Do not stay here unless you are desperate or a trucker. Late check in is downright scary. I am surprised KOA lets them keep the franchise name. Too dark to set up at night. Biggest problem is finding it altogether due to very poor signage, especially for KOA. My overnight rate was $47.00 with a KOA card.

For KOA Journey Granite City: Granite City KOA - May 16th, 2016
Checked in by very pleasant young man. Thought this indicated we would get good service. Boy was I wrong!
When I returned to the office a couple of hours later to report that the lower numbered channels (the network channels) had extremely poor reception, the lady on duty was annoyed that I was bothering her with a problem, rude, and completely unconcerned that I had a problem. She turned on the TV in the office and declared that since the picture was fine there, the problem must be with my coax cable.
I said that it would not be unusual to have good reception at the office, but bad reception at one or more of the sites. I suggested they might have a problemwith the cable that feeds my site. She said there was nothing she could do about it.
I then asked for a partial refund which she refused because they don't charge for cable. I said the cost of cable must be built into the total amount they charge. She said they don't give partial refunds. I said that I wouldn't be back again, and she said that was fine with her!

For KOA Journey Granite City: Facilities fine. Personnel helpful. Location convenient...but at 6:00 am there was significant train, truck, and school bus noise.
