Sunny camper
For Cloverdale RV Park: Pros: pretty sites
Quiet with mostly permanent neighbors
$35 cash
Cons: bathrooms filthy
Water more sulfur than we have seen anywhere
Rules with rocks everywhere
Did not return call for over 3 hours.
“No vehicles on the grass ever†caps on sheet
State law says masks. No masks and comment he doesn’t believe in Covid. yikes!
Hard to find. No sign from 70 and on a small country road

For Cloverdale RV Park: VERY NICE campground. Will definitely stop again. Beautiful grounds, very well manicured. Friendly staff. I really liked their phone message that said something like if you are hearing this message we have room for you, so drive on in. So often we call a campground and leave a message that we need a site for tonight and never hear back, or it is hours later when you’ve already searched for another camp. That is so frustrating. Cloverdale is a wonderful camp, so don’t let previous reviews about all the signs and rules stop you, they were not a problem at all. Happy camping, everyone!

For Cloverdale RV Park: Easy access off interstate 70. Very peaceful, well kept grounds. The owner was very businesslike nice, not particularly friendly. Lots of posters letting you know it’s private property and that there are rules to follow plus information that you might need to know. No problem registering or paying. There is a pond with a couple of bench swings. There is also an older playground that doesn’t have much to speak of. We paid $40/night for 6 people for an electric/water pull through site. We are about 53 feet long, but we could have been another 40 feet. The pull through sites are very long. Overall, would stay again if we were back in the area and ignore the oddities of the posters and the stress of the rules.

For Cloverdale RV Park: This park is close to our home so we dropped in to just take a look without our trailer. Narrow entry with signs everywhere including one stating everyone must follow *the rules*. There was a sign indicating we had to check in at the office but we weren't staying so we pulled forward a very small distance (as in we never left sight of the office) and turned around in a pullthrough to leave.
A man waved us down with obvious irritation in front of the office. He asked us in an unfriendly tone what we needed and we stated we just wanted to take a look at the park. Without any inquiry about our interest as a customer he launched into chastising us for not going into the office and if we did we would have known to follow *the rules* "dude" such as not driving on the grass. I suppose my tire must have touched the edge of the grass when I turned through the gravel pull through or something?
Anyway it was a very strange and unfriendly interaction. Man's got a right to his rules I suppose but they felt much more important than friendliness and attracting a new client.
