For KOA Journey Crawfordsville: NOT a great place to stay. I don’t mean to be disrespectful but this IS NOT a big rig friendly RV park and it was overpriced for what we got. The roads are very narrow and in rutted, the whole park is a muddy mess, not well taken care of. The dog waste station was overflowing. It appears they tried to upgrade the park with landscaping and flowering bushes BUT they are NOT well placed and makes it difficult for big rigs to get around to park or to leave. We were in a 40’ MH in a ‘supposed’ pull-thru and were seriously disappointed. Sadly, I feel for them because it could be a better park if someone cared to take care of it. It needs serious TLC—road repairs, take out bushes in the way of parking rigs, gravel in sites not mud, picnic table repairs. This is not worth the stay and we won’t stay again or ever recommend. If your a little travel trailer—maybe but if you have a BIG rig—don’t go here.

For KOA Journey Crawfordsville: We were last here about eight years ago and noticed significant improvements in the grading of most sites to make them more level and less likely to retain water after a heavy rain. Although we travel in a 22’ class B it is obvious the park is big rig friendly based on the number of very large Class A’s and fifth wheels in pull throughs sites - many of the pull through sites sites are long enough to leave a towed car attached. The staff was friendly and helpful, the grounds shady and well maintained.

For KOA Journey Crawfordsville: Very impressed! They were nice enough to let us get a late reservation in a very nice spot. Only stayed for a night but very pleased.

For KOA Journey Crawfordsville: This is a nice older KOA (I guess most are older.) Staff is friendly. They let us pick our site. Some are more level than others, most with shady trees. Excellent WiFi, which is hard to find. Didn’t use their bathrooms so no comments on that, but the pool was inviting on a hot afternoon. Very quiet with no traffic noise.

Syl

For KOA Journey Crawfordsville: I travel alone with a small travel trailer (have a small dog) and have mobility issues. I was given a choice of 6 sites and picked the only level one with hookups I could easily get to. Women's bath has been updated but the addition of grab bars in one toilet and shower stall would be helpful. Staff I encountered were polite.Just stayed one nite while traveling. Not the best KOA but adequate. Most do not have accessible bathrooms.

For KOA Journey Crawfordsville: Not a big rig friendly though they claim to be. If you can pullin you may not be able to pull thru as advertised. Many obstacles to manage such as trees and bushes. Our site #1 wasn't level. Had to use 3 hose sections to reach sewer connection. Foul mouth and rude assistant when attempting to help backup to leave next day and eventually walked off swearing at me and my wife. Do not recommend staying here. Definitely not up to KOA standards.

Dan

For KOA Journey Crawfordsville: The park is reasonably nice. Sites vary significantly, some level, some not. Mostly shaded. Power hookups are decent. Showers are in need of updating: adequate but sub-par for KOA. Main issue was a lack of enforcement of quiet hours. The loud conversations that continued well past midnight at a bonfire in a shared space devolved into a shouting match with F-bombs and death threats among the participants by 2AM. The owners apparently don't live anywhere nearby. We left quickly in the morning and went to a rest area where it was quiet to make some breakfast.
