For Heartland Resort: Deplorable. 99% permanent sites that are run down and messy. If I could give no stars, I would. Scary.

Wandering
For Heartland Resort: Campground is run down, unkept, sites with little shade unless you are in an area which floods frequently. Lots of seasonal with poorly maintained sites with high weeds. It’s also very expensive. Not s lot to like here.

For Heartland Resort: Old, run down, parts look like trashy trailer park. Golf, fishing, miniature golf, playground and pool to keep you busy. Some sections under old oak trees for plenty of shade others in the open field. A lot of seasonal campers and what appears to be full time residents.

For Heartland Resort: This is an older campground with what appear to be a significant number of permanent residents. Lots of shade, but low in spots resulting in standing water and mud at my assigned site. The host reported over an inch of rain had fallen last night. The Women’s restroom had adequate shower, however the water was very soft. Also, no lock on the restroom, and the shower stalls did not lock either. Water and electric come with each site and were poorly located for my rig, what with the mud and all, I had to park close to the loop road to avoid possibly getting stuck. Checking in went quickly and the host was friendly. There is a camp store, some candy and a few sundries. For what I paid, I didn’t feel it was a very good value.

For Heartland Resort: Could be great if they kept it up. Property is very poorly maintained. Spent two nights here in the water was out for most of the time that we were here and I hear from other residents that this is a common problem. Restroom facilities are in dire need of maintenance and updates. Many of the seasonal/full-time RVs are in a severe state of disrepair and makes the property look trashy.

For Heartland Resort: this is a mostly full time and seasonal campground.. Its called a resort probably because the people all seem to come back and spend the season with each other. We think the staff is overwhelmed by the large piece of property and do not maintain the grounds to really turn it into a resort. The indoor pool was closed because the lifeguard went back to school..???? It was a very nice stay in our 38' fifth wheel mainly because of the neighbors we met there. Your about 30 minutes from Inianapolis from here.

For Heartland Resort: A lot of facilities for kids, but bathroom/showers were old and dirty, and too few for the large # of people. Lots of highway noise. No WiFi, said it will be fixed, but true? Other reviewers reported issues with WiFi. Disappointed in Allstays review.
