For Grandmas RV Park: Rules, rules and more rules. There are signs with rules everywhere you look. Those rules are in addition to the pages of rules you are given while checking in.

This is an average park with more rules than a Marine Drill Instructor.

We pulled in late and left early in our travel trailer. Without a doubt, Grandma is cooking up new rules right now.

For Grandmas RV Park: For an overnight I give it 5 stars but would it stay more than 1-2 days. Owner waited until 8 pm for us to get there so she could get us checked in. The sites are long so you don't have to unhook your tow vehicle but very close together so don't expect to put out your awning. Just off interstate but signage is poor so we missed the entrance and had to make a loop through the little town, get back on interstate and try again. Tested our nerves a bit since it was about dark. The water hookup was down in a hole and filled with water so we didn't even try. It was pouring down rain so we just pulled in, grabbed electricity and relaxed. Will utilize this park again simply because it's paved, long and right off of the interstate. Would not recommend for more than 2 nights. We drive a 40 foot motorhome and tow a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

For Grandmas RV Park: We stayed here for three nights based on the reviews here. The positives are that it is clean, sites are level and easy to pull into, and there is a huge flea market right behind it which was so much fun to visit that we went twice.

There are quite a few negatives though too. We thought the rate was great until we were informed that there was an extra $6 charge per child per night, making our nightly rate $50 a night. This was not a $50 campground. Another thing was all the rules. For example, if you use the showers you were required to dry off in the shower and not get any water on be floor or else you clean it up... Strictly enforced!

Most of the rules were related to pets, there was a whole page of pet rules and signs everywhere. No dogs in the shrubbery, dogs must stay inside the RV, no pet pens, no dogs left outside, leashes must be no longer than 6 foot, you must pick up the poop or you will be immediately evicted with no refund, etc. As a dog owner, I felt like I was always in danger of being evicted and eyed suspiciously. Bottom line, I won't go back there with a dog.

Another negative is that the sites are very close together. Not really too uncommon, but the way the hookups are set up, my sewer line ended literally under my neighbors canopy directly in front of their door. Also, the water spigot was in a hole a foot and a half under ground. I had to get on my knees and elbows to turn in on and off, not a deal breaker for a young person but not sure how an older person would do that.

It's an ok place for an overnight stay if you are young and don't have pets or children or an aversion to a million rules. For me though, I really couldn't enjoy it.

For Grandmas RV Park: We overnighted here and found it to be just what we need for that stay: close to the highway, clean and uncluttered, easy to navigate, level and dry, and affordable. The office manager literally jogged out to meet us, pointed us to an open pull-thru site, invited us to get set up and then come back to register/pay. Now, it's not the sort of place I'd want to hang out for a vacation (it's a bit sparse) and they do have a number of signs regarding dogs that might make dog owners feel picked on (we're not dog owners, so no worry for us). We would stay here again for sure.

For Grandmas RV Park: We stayed there 3 nights 8/26-8/28. Nice clean park, very nice bathrooms, friendly people. Great price. Nothing fancy; but that is the way we like it. Would Definitely stay there again.
