For Blue Heron - Big South Fork National River Rec Area: Very bad trip. Camp host was friendly but there is no visitor center. SMALLLL campground and the bathrooms haven’t been cleaned since 1940. If you’re pop up camping or tent camping forget the showers and go for a swim in the small pond they have.

For Blue Heron - Big South Fork National River Rec Area: A very nice campground, we were here mid week early May and we were the Loan Rangers. Clean bath & shower, nice trails. Rode the nearby Stearns South Bigfork Scenic Railway.

For Blue Heron - Big South Fork National River Rec Area: This campground is pretty out of the way, but was a good place to stay for a few days while exploring the area. Not sure if it was just our post, but I don't think our 30amp circuit was actually 30 amps, as we popped the breaker with the AC running when my wife microwaved something. Haven't ever had this issue before. Not a lot of shady spots and it was hot. We reserved online and there was a reserved sign with out name on it on our site when we got there. Never interacted with any staff or camp host.

For Blue Heron - Big South Fork National River Rec Area: We stayed there in July 2016 on Lot 03 in a motorhome. Level, pavement a bit wavy. Very quiet. Bear sightings common although we did not see any (trash cans/storage areas for tent campers are designed for such). Very pleasant Ranger and camp hosts.
