For Poche Plantation RV Resort Cottage: Drove through, tried to find host, finally did after a phone call. He seemed more irritated if disturbed him. Although there were several empty spots when I drove through and it was 4pm, he said I could park in the parking lot with a plug in for $35.
I asked about the empty sites and all he said was most are reserved. Not all but most?? I didn’t like the unfriendliness and the lack of customer service so I left. Lucky I did because I found Davis Campground on the bayou, full hook up, $15.! $10. For $65 and over.

For Poche Plantation RV Resort Cottage: This is an interesting area, but lacking in RV parks, thus the GS rate here was $41/night which is IMHO high. This park has a quirky shabby-chic-ness to it, the sites/hook-ups/laundry are great, and it is generally quiet, most sites appear to be unattended most of the time so I think they are workers in the area....the Mississippi is across the road and there is boat commerce going on, interesting to a northerner! Don't miss Whitney Plantation if you are in the area.

For Poche Plantation RV Resort Cottage: Very large concrete pads. Very close together. Good Internet. Mostly work campers.
