For Westover ARB FamCamp: Price did go up to $23, but the FamCamp is great! Sites are well spread out, and the bathrooms are spotless! They have overflow electric only for $10 (this price may have gone up slightly…not sure).

For Westover ARB FamCamp: James street is about a mile north (on 33) of Westover Rd.
The main gate is on James Street and is open 24 hrs.
Westover rd gate is open M-F 8-5 as of this writing(Commercial vehicles gate.)
Main gate has a very very tight entrance.
Once thru the Main gate, take the first right straight to fam camp.

For Westover ARB FamCamp: our visit here went very well. quite a few long term stayers who went out of their way to help us newbies out. all the sites were full for the first 2 nights of our 3 night stay but it was better than not having anywhere to stay at all. close KOA campground within 30 minutes if this place is full and you don't want to park in the overflow. they have a huge over flow field(cheaper than the sites) where I heard up to 50 rv's can park in the area. no trees, picnic table, water, electric, sewer or fire pit. It was a bit of a bummer that there were people who had been there for longer than the posted limit(2 weeks and then additional days if nobody is waiting) and we had to wait for someone to leave. in the over flow area only a couple rv's may have access to water and electric so come prepared to dry camp if needed. The park is quiet and a bunch of dogs but no barking or dog poop. everyone very friendly and helpful. we did have garbage in our firepit once we got a site but it was easy to clean out. The bathrooms were clean (there were cleaning supplies available to clean up after yourself) great water pressure and hot water. The showers were large stand up stalls and one handicap stall (3 or 4 total stalls). The dump station was clean. The large trash container filled within 36 hours~ overflowed!! Not many people used the recycling bins. (sad face) The sites were large enough for our car, rv and trailer. no reservations accepted. we plan on staying here again

Christmas
For Westover ARB FamCamp: Very nice campground. Some sites are in some pine trees and another group are lined up in a row next to a straight line of trees. The restrooms and laundry was very nice. The staff was very helpful. It is a first come first serve and I’m not sure how many are more permanent campers.. The officer club looks very nice, but it appears to only be open on drill weekends. The base exchange was large for a reserve base. The campsite is very centrally located close to the base exchange, gas station and club. Also the drive at the back of the campsite leads into the clubs huge parking lot. The walk to the club is almost as fast as driving.

For Westover ARB FamCamp: Stopped only for one night on our way back from our winter get away in April, 2018. Found it to be a nice quiet and well kept campground. i thought the camp host was a friendly gentleman. Could not beat the price due to electric only. and the club was a nice place to grab a bite. nice find. hope to return. like all famcamps we have been to. there are some full timers but this just helps to keep the place up.

For Westover ARB FamCamp: Traveling through for one night enroute to NH. Early in the season so not busy, although some slots appeared to be used by Reservists. Clean facilities.
