For The Pines Camping Area: I stayed here for 3 months while Working in the area. I had no problems with other campers & found them very friendly. The staff is very friendly & helpful & knowledgeable about the local area. Some of the facilities are dated but considering the history of the property you can understand why. Stop by the office & inquire about the history they’ll be happy to help. The sites are larger than most & you don’t feel like your right on top of the next site. Beautiful area! Great campground! I will definitely return again.

For The Pines Camping Area: We stayed at this campground for a week. Our site was on the main road in and out of the park, so the traffic going by our rig was non stop. The hook ups are good, but only four sites in the park have sewer hook up. Our site was crushed stone and sloped to the right a bit (looking at the picture). The laundry and restrooms were a bit outdated, but functional. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall we did not get a good "vibe" here, but it is close to the State Beach.

For The Pines Camping Area: Pros: very near a train station to go into Boston. Very near New Hampshire to get to New Hampshire liquor store and New Hampshire coastline (beautiful).
Cons: the campground is sooo dated. There are seasonal sites that are disgusting. It looks more like a trailer park than an RV campground. We used the laundry facility. The machines did their job @$2 per wash and per dry. I didn’t want to go to their bathrooms or showers. They only have a few full hookup sites from the map they gave us. So, on checkout day, we had to wait for two other trailers to dump their crap before we could leave. We didn’t need to dump, but had to wait.
The campground served its purpose for us. We did not like to stay at our site so we found things to do. It seems like a shady place. There was something on their paperwork that they handed out saying that no drugs will be tolerated.

For The Pines Camping Area: We stayed here on a visit to Boston. The campground is close to the Boston commuter train station. However we found it dark, dingy, and confining due to the heavy tree cover and dusty roads. There is no WiFi and impossible to pull in satellite TV. I can’t recommend this site except for a one night stay.

For The Pines Camping Area: Most sites are reasonably far apart. Campground was clean for the most part but a few dirty seasonal could be seen. Campground roads are dusty dirt. No gravel. Nice pool. Office staff not really friendly. Stayed summer of 2016 for 2 nights

For The Pines Camping Area: Love this one. Most sites are spread out far from others so you have some sense of seclusion. Clean nice place just up the road from Hampton Beach. Did not use public bathroom. Lots of sites. Heavy wooded. Beautiful. Going back next weekend.
