For Bar Harbor RV Park: Great place. Right on the water. I made it 4 star because it was prone to flooding on the site next to the water. Got water just below the rim on the tires. If you are late getting in it is a little dark so backing in is fun. Close to a lot of activities.

For Bar Harbor RV Park: We are just starting out on our rv adventures. This was our shake down trip. Silly us we left Florida to head north for thanksgiving. I mentioned this to provide context for the review.
We chose to have a water front spot and we’re on a peninsula so we had a view of the bush river and a bay. There is a walk way along the water and piers with benches. The office has a nice water front porch with swings. We enjoyed all the ducks that appear to be permanent residents.
The sites are asphalt with a mix of pull ins and back ins. The bath house is a bit dingy and my wife decided that showering in the rv was preferable.
The park is well treed. We had rain while we were here, and the park doesn’t drain well so walking the dogs was not pleasant.
There are multiple train tracks just across the water on two sides and the train horn in the middle of the night can interrupt your sleep. Think “My cousin Vinnyâ€.
Many of the sites seemed to be full timers and storage. The density of which appears far greater than on the site map. There are several houses converted into apartments on site. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice. But walking the street can be a little un-nerving as it’s hilly and winding, which would be a positive except 90% of the traffic comes from the parks full time residents who seem to drive a bit over the speed limit. There is not much else to choose from in the area.

For Bar Harbor RV Park: Stars for the nice girl that checked me in. She was the highlight of the stay. Oh and feeding the ducks that eat out of your hand. She was Very courteous and cordial. Zero stars for the grounds themselves. Waterfront sites might as well be boat slips. My RV was surrounded by water the entire stay. If I spent more time being there I would have left. No way of using fire pit as it was under water. Grassy area was soaked and had large puddles. This place would be better off turning the whole place into a marina and developing the inland portion into townhomes. It’s just not a good reliable place to be. I’m sorry but when you have to hook up and both your car and trailer are surrounded by water it’s frustrating. I’d ask for my money back if I was on vacation and this has happened.

For Bar Harbor RV Park: Great campground. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Right on the water with great shade trees all around. Well kept up. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

For Bar Harbor RV Park: Right on the water. Great view. Nice lady in office. Bathrooms not in great shape and need major renovations. Beach area was under water when tide goes up. Beat up trailers in back of campground. Stairs to game room all rotted out.

For Bar Harbor RV Park: Nice location on water with all amenities. Had to search for firewood (back of park near exit). Easy in and out for our class c, but very limited store and office hours. Plan ahead if you want to connect with them.
