For Ramblin Pines: Very nice wooded campground. Nicely spaced sites. Very clean restrooms. Well maintained public areas. I pulled a 35’ travel trailer into a pull thru site with plenty of room on both sides for my slide out on both sides. No problem navigating to the campground from I-70. Easy drive into the Baltimore or Frederick area. I worked from this location for 4 days traveling into Baltimore each day. I will be back here again when working this area.

For Ramblin Pines: Easy check-in, shady sites, clean pool, all kind of games for kids and adults, full hookups, easy access, and QUIET roomy sites. At $63 a day, reasonable due to location to Balt & DC. Only negative, had to level three corners of our 24 foot motor home. Will stay here again!

John

For Ramblin Pines: My wife and I with our two grandchildren stayed here for two nights in mid-August 2020 and had a delightful time. We live nearby and just wanted to get-away locally in this time of restricted traveling. The amenities were great, our grandchildren loved it. The pool was sparkling clean, as were the bathhouses and showers. We'd never seen a "bouncy pillow" but the kids (and my wife and I too) had fun on it. My grandson caught about a half-dozen blue gills in the catch-and-release pond. My only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is the site I had (A6) was awfully close to the two sites on either side. In any case we look forward to returning.

Christine

For Ramblin Pines: Been full timers for 6 yrs and have seen all but 7 States, this campground ranks in our top ten. It is well maintained and secure. There are activities for children and adults. Live music, movie nights to name a few. The staff is friendly and accommodating, they are generally booked solid on weekends but very quiet during the week. Great walking trails for both you and your dogs. Next time we’re in the area will will return

For Ramblin Pines: Friendly people and a well kept campground. Some strict rules, but I guess that’s how they keep it nice. We were in FR7, meaning front row #7. The entire front row was very tight on the sides to our neighboring campers. The other spots in the campground looked nice and spacious. There were several spaces behind us that were open, but they had the entire FR full. I will only go back if we could stay in another row.

Mike

For Ramblin Pines: DO NOT STAY IN THIS CAMPGROUND, they discriminate against families with kids. I was just told I cannot stay there because in September I would have to drive my kids to school and THEY DON'T ALLOW IT, yes, your read this right, you have to tell them where you are taking your kids in the morning, and it that happens to be a school, THEY WILL KICK YOU OUT!
However, if your kids don't go to school, they will let you stay there, no problem. They claim this is their policy, why do I have to tell a campground receptionist where I'm taking my kids in the morning??? Can you imagine having to explain yourself to a hotel receptionist?? Why are these people different?? This is a ridiculous, discriminatory and probably illegal policy. Not only they lost a client, I will make sure nobody I know ever goes there.

Pete

For Ramblin Pines: Stayed over new year's visiting family. Roads were well paved and stayed at site A3 which was a paved patio site. There is a mercury vapor light between sites A1 and A2 that buzzes. Most of the facilities were closed for the season and the campground was pretty empty. Nice and quiet. There seemed to a large amount of permanent trailers throughout the park. The gated entry and the required 40 dollar deposit for an entrance card was a bit of a bother. The office was closed for New Years on Sunday and Monday. Even though the temps did not go below freezing I was told to disconnect my water line because I did not have a heat tape. I was treated like I did not know what I was doing.
