For Homestead by the River Campground: This was a great stop. The owner is a wonderful lady who runs a tight ship. The campground has great river access and allowed us to break out the inflatable kayak. I’m not a big fan of outdoor laundries but this was well maintained and the machines were clean and serviceable. The sites are grass but nice and level. The drive in was very nice and we enjoyed the farm animals as well. We would definitely stay here again.

For Homestead by the River Campground: Lovely, quiet campground. Well maintained and easy to make reservations. Showers aren’t super central but the farthest campsite isn’t too far of a walk. Loved the farm animals too! Seemed very kid-friendly for those with kids. Converted car-camper friendly.

For Homestead by the River Campground: Great stay. Enjoyed the time here so I extended or stay. It is a working farm with many animals walking around.
