For Cold River Campground: Good access to Bangor area, convenient, tidy and clean. The sites are small and ours was wet (puddles) and muddy. Great wifi, maybe the best I’ve ever used at a campground. Cell service is strong too. Terrific open common area with play area for kids. Laundry, store too.

For Cold River Campground: This is not a bad park, just not a four star park. Lots of “season†campers ( May - October) with cords of wood stacked up beside their RV’s, the spaces are small and close together, roads are full of deep pot holes, they advertise 50 Amp service but only a few spaces have it and the season campers usually get those. On the good side, the WiFi was good, pool looked clean (we didn’t use it) and activities are planned regularly.

Sauls
For Cold River Campground: Not the most manicured landscaping, but one of the best overall we've stayed at. The staff were great. Twice, I needed something and before I asked, the staff were there with the solution. We planned for 3 days and stayed for 6. Very clean. Would highly recommend it

For Cold River Campground: We stayed at Cold river Campground Late August through September 2015 and loved the campground. The New owners work like crazy for the campers and the place looks great. Their are lots of nature trails and the Pool was beautiful and warm. We highly recommend checking this campground out!!
