For Mt Blue State Park: Terrific park. Sites well spaced, level, we had hook ups and everything worked well. Showers on the oldish side, but adequate. Shower water could have been warmer. Nice trails in the area. Only complaint was the mosquitoes , and that is not the park’s fault. Would definitely stay here again.

For Mt Blue State Park: A nice state park. Many different types/sizes of sites - some nice and level, but others...good luck. Sites were partly to mostly shaded, so little opportunity to charge batteries by solar and very few campers were using generators. It was mostly tent campers when we went, with a handful of RVs. The beach area was very nice and easily accessible by path and short walk or drive with plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly as were fellow campers. Our only frustration was that they have added 20/30/50 amp and water to some sites, but this was not updated on their website or online reservation service, thus we sweated through three of the hottest nights of this summer. Sites 3-8, 10, 11, 13, & 15 were the ones that had power & water. Clean and easily accessible dump and potable water fill area in campground. Road to campground has some steep hills and curves on roads with no shoulders, so be prepared for some interesting driving. The clear waters and beautiful views in the various sections of the park made up for the "ruggedness" of the park.
