For East Tawas City Park: It's nearly impossible to find an RV park situated on the shores of Lake Huron. With the recent electrical upgrades to 50amp the park amenities are now complete. Clean, well kept, safe and professional staff.

For East Tawas City Park: I would rate the park excellent for staff, cleanliness, and great location. The only reason I give it 3 instead of 5 is because there is no place to launch a small paddleboard, kayak, canoe, small sailboat. Many people have small non motor boats that are difficult to launch at the DNR launch site downtown. That site has rocks on both sides and is not good for small kayaks sailboats canoes etc. Years ago Tawas was a great place to sail a small sunfish or canoe. There is literally no place to do it now. Such a shame because Tawas Bay is a great sailing bay. I probably will find another park because I like to sail. It is a great park if you are not into water sports.
