For Tawas Point State Park: Tawas Point State Park is beautiful. Tawas Bay on one side, for watching sunsets, Lake Huron on the other for sunrises. Lots of sandy beaches w/lots of room; shallow but clear, fresh water for swimming, boating, kayaking, kiteboarding. Walking trails, light house tour is interesting, birding supposed to be fantastic but we don’t do that hobby. The campground is crowded but quieted down just fine at night. Electric only, some of the sites are definitely easier to use if you have an extra long electrical cord or an extension. Shower house good w/hot water and high pressure. Tourist shops and restaurants nearby in Tawas City and East Tawas. We would stay here again.

For Tawas Point State Park: Nice State Campground. Some spots have unusual parking configurations, but nothing that would prevent you from enjoying your sight. You may need an extension cord as some boxes are a ways away. All sites are electric only. Water and dump available. Individual showers with Inmate type, push button controls. You have no control over the temperature. It was fine though. ATT had a strong signal. Short walk to light house. Canoe/kayak launch from inside campground. Packed on the weekend, but very enjoyable.
