For Timber Surf Camping Resort: Their brochure had a picture and it was labeled "Rustic Tranquility". This is an accurate description of this campground. Playground area was marked off with tape, could not use, no pool but you could swim in the lake. The swim area was between piers where boats were docked. We stayed at Site"F", site did not have a "defined" parking area. There was a dead pine that kept us from parking closer to the edge of our site. Fire ring was under our awning and road was about 10' from that. Sites were very tight. We had a FHU site with 50 amp service. When we connected our surge protector indicated that the neutral was non existent at the box. They came out fixed it and helped us reset our internal electrical system. 1 bar on Verizon service and we were able to receive 8 channels from antenna TV. This campground needs some TLC. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

For Timber Surf Camping Resort: Stayed for a weekend. Friendly staff. Playground was small and had been smashed by a tree the night before in a storm. No beach on the lake but ok to swim in. Park is wooded. A lot of locals camping and quiet hours weren’t strictly enforced but things weren’t out of hand. Would go back but wouldn’t mind trying something else out.
