For Hartwick Pines State Park: Good cover of separation with tree growth for the smaller electric only sites. The bigger rig sites are in the open with full hookup which i really do not understand the appeal of camping in the wide open. My site is #30 and i was very pleased with it albeit if you look through the forest, you can see a clearing where the sanitation area is -but you cannot actually see the sanitation area. In the night, it is pitch black anyways. Lots of trees and forest around my campsite and although you could see the other neighbor's trailer, you are far apart enough for a sense of privacy. The bathrooms and showers are modern with plenty of bench space in the showers. The water is hot and does not run cold. Toilets are clean and i think the bathrooms are cleaned at least twice a day. Nights and mornings were quite chilly as i stayed 9/28-9/29-2018. I did a few 2 mile or more hikes and they were fantastic. Saw very few people on my hikes. Even with the Old Growth Forest paths. Took the Glory Lake trail from the campsite and that was great and also the Merge Grande Trail. Both were very good and saw few people due to the lateness of the season. definitely coming back

For Hartwick Pines State Park: Hartwick pines is an Awesome park, secluded camp sites. Very Clean park, great walking trails, Old growth pines and great learning park .

For Hartwick Pines State Park: Clean showers. Good getaway place as we did not have service.
