For Wooded Acres Campground: We have not stayed at Wooded Acres, but definitely will in the future. My wife and I are traveling from South Carolina up to the UP. We will be traveling over the holiday weekend. I was looking for a place to stay mid-Michigan. I just called and spoke to Jenny at Wooded Acres. They don't have any vacancies, but she was super helpful. She made some suggestions for alternatives. It is always great to talk to someone who loves what they do and shows it in their enthusiasm and willingness to help. Thank you Jenny for an amazing first impression and we will be looking to stay at Wooded Acres in the future.

For Wooded Acres Campground: So many good things about this place. Nice-sized shady sites, huge playground for the kids. Clean bathrooms & showers. Good water pressure and internet. Just outside of Houghton Lake - we came in from the exit to the south and thought we were far away from town, but when we went exploring the next day found that regardless of how quiet and remote it seemed in the campground we were close to all of the action in town and at the lake. We’ll be going back.

For Wooded Acres Campground: Friendly staff. Very Clean bathrooms. Great for kids. Little fishing pond, play area, pool etc. They also do a trolly ride pulled by an old tractor every Saturday night.

For Wooded Acres Campground: Very nice, clean and peaceful campground. Nice pool, very clean restrooms, showers, and laundry. Large and small rigs alike. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again. Good WiFi.
