The Allens
For Taylors Beach Campground: A rather odd campground to say the least. The road into the campground is a badly rutted dirt gravel road - inside the campground the “drive†is filled with huge potholes. 90% of this campground are spots people pay for and keep their trailers there full-time for weekend/summer use. These units are surrounded by “jack-built†decks, storage units, extensions to the trailer, etc.- very unsightly. There is a large pond with some sand brought in for a “beachâ€. The campsite we had was small,
not at all level and grass. With these caveats, the people running the campground were very cooperative and pleasant. We stayed one night in a motorhome.
