For AuTrain Lake NF Campground: Decent place. No more camp hosts. Looks like it’s ran by an LLC now and it’s $22 for one night. Steep price for rustic site

Our Chains Are Gone
For AuTrain Lake NF Campground: Nice campground. The park hosts are wonderful! The songbird trail is well worth it. The only issue is that there is absolutely no water at this campground. They shut down the water system after E. coli was found last August. So you are paying $18 ($9 with access pass) for no electricity and no water. It is a great location, but worth considering. There is no dump and there are only vault toilets with no handwashing stations. You can dump and get water at Bay Furnace , but that is a 15 minute drive.
