For Cannon Falls Campground: Overall this is an average campground. People are new owners, nice, but a bit inexperienced. The pros: Clean. paved roads thus no dust from traffic. Nice pool (we didn’t use, but looked decent). Hookups were well placed. Gravel was decent on the sites. Large grassy areas. Shower house was clean. Cons: 1). The sites are hard to back into. Roads are narrow, and I just about hit a post with the site number on it with side of pickup. Had I not stopped to look on my left I would have really banged up the side. The posts are located at the front of the sites near where your are backing up. I actually pulled out post on our site because it was a nuisance when backing in, then put it back when we left. 2). My wife decided to use the shower house, and when she got there found that she had to put in a quarter. Had to walk back and get a quarter. Really? Not a big deal, but for $52 a night you have to pay for a shower? Also should have been specified when we came in. Which when we checked in no information sheet was given to us with a list of rules, etc. I’d stay again if I had to, but wouldn’t make it a destination for a week of camping.

For Cannon Falls Campground: New Owners this year 2019! So much for families to do. The new owners are so friendly and make you feel welcome. Super Clean!

For Cannon Falls Campground: If you’re just staying for a weekend or family camp out or reunion this is a wonderful place. PROS: Very kind, wonderful accommodating owners on site all the time working extremely hard and tirelessly to keep this place up! Sparkling, amazing, large heated pool! Nice playground, game room and large grass common areas with volleyball and horseshoe pits. Large, level sites. Fun weekend family tractor-wagon rides. Very nice place however, we full-time in a class A and stayed a month & probably wouldn’t return because CONS: Complete ant infestation, Old gross laundry facility not adequate for cleaning laundry! Worst of all.. their water (hoping it’s just iron) clogged our filters and filled our entire system stained with a thick orange residue! We had to sanitize and flush our entire system, flush hot water heater, change all filters, and scrub out filter cartridge, toilets, sinks all stained.
