For Grand Marais City RV Park: Found this campground to be crowded, and noisy, with few amenities. Way overpriced for what you get. This whole town seems to be very impressed with themselves considering what the prices are for average accommodations and less than average food. There are better places to visit.

For Grand Marais City RV Park: This is not a 5 star park, it is close but not 5 stars... The bathrooms are clean but old and they do need a bit of work. The WiFi works, but only at the office. There are far too many seasonals occupping the really nice sites. The firepits are horrible. The views on the waterfront are beautiful and that makes up for a lot and is why this is a four star.nThe sites are readonably level, but if all occupied, one would be close to your neighbour. We visited in September and in May so the campground was not full. The campground is walking distance to town centre. So easy to visit the shops and restaurants of which there are many. One would not need to cook there are so many choices close by. The campground is nit secure so there are lots of people walking on the main roads in the park. That is to be expected as this is afterall a town park, so... the beach is not closed at 11:00 you will on occassion have people "enjoying" the beach area and picnic areas well into the night/morning. The location of this camoground is the four star not the facilities... A wonderful spot to catch your breath and relax for a few days looking at the water, watching, burds, boats and people!

For Grand Marais City RV Park: Nice sites although156 flooded just a little from very heavy rain. Most others appeared very good. Shower and restrooms were nice, big and clean. Very dog friendly. Plenty of doggie bags around the park. Nice trails and access to the lake. Very quick access to the city (walking). Shops, restaurants, bank, groceries. No laundry in the park. There is one About a mile down the road attached to the Napa store. Nice car wash next door if your rig needs a quick hosing down. Internet is pay only. $4/hr, $15/day, $25/week.
