For Pokegama Recreation Area: I agree with the previous reviews with one major exception. The campground is separated by just a small row of trees and bushes from a railroad track and major highway (US 2). The highway noise was pretty constant but the train whistles were infrequent but LOUD - especially at 3:30 am.

For Pokegama Recreation Area: Beautiful setting on the river. Sites are level with 50 amp electric. There is no water or sewer at sites. Bath house is very nice. The bath house has 3 individual units with shower,toilet,and sink. Like I said setting is beautiful and sites are spaced out. I think you will like.swabian

For Pokegama Recreation Area: Lovely campground on the Mississippi River. Clean, well-maintained, with great bath/shower facilities. Stayed here in a 43ft RV. The sites are graveled and level, with room for 1-2 cars. Nice playground for the kids. Great fishing from the pier. We stay here often when visiting family.
