For Fortune Bay Resort Casino and RV Park: The campground is nothing special, but the transients do seem to get the pull Throughs in the middle while the long-term people are in the back in shady spots around the edges. We paid $40 for water and electric and use of the dump. The resort is beautiful and the golf course is fabulous. The RV fee comes with use of the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There is a porch on the outside of the pool enclosure that overlooks the lake. The marina is an easy walk from the campground and has lots of benches and beautiful views.

For Fortune Bay Resort Casino and RV Park: Peg is a great hostess! However she is only in the rv office 10-6 Thur-Sun. So try to make your reservation with her if you can. Of the 36 sites, only 16 are available for short stays and they other 20 sites are now seasonal. Nice restrooms & showers. Sites are decent size with W/E & dump station. Which makes the $40/night a little pricey. However, the price does include free boat launch, boat slip and kayaks/canoes as well as pool & hot tub in hotel.

For Fortune Bay Resort Casino and RV Park: My only complaint is they wouldn’t give me a receipt. Don’t like that. The park was quiet the golf was beautiful the lake was great. Park east to get into with motorhome. Wolf sanctuary was good cool that day so the wolfs were moving around. Drove to Ely nice to walk around the town Minnesotan’s are the nicest people we have met this summer out of the 15 states we have been in. Any the roads are nice. Would stay again.
Our site 4 was so level we didn’t use our levels.

For Fortune Bay Resort Casino and RV Park: Great campground manager/host (Peg). Peg is the most gracious friendly and knowledgeable campground manager. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Campground RVers have access to use kayaks, paddle boards and water bicycles, free of charge...as well as the use of the resort pool/hot tub and sauna. The resort also provides shuttle service free to all of their amenities. Didn’t have a chance to play there golf course, but maybe next time...Thank you Peg for a great stay!!!
