matt
For Boomland RV Park and Campground: this rv park is a barebones, full hook up campground at an excellent price.
as of 9/10/2020 the $15-a-night-price gives you water, power and sewer.
water had no noticeable taste or smell.
power was good under 2 ac load in our rv.
(however the camp occupancy right now is maybe 20% full, so it’s possible full occupancy during the summer months might adversely affect power)
there are no amenities. no employees. no store. no picnic tables. no campfire spot and no wifi.
it’s a quick, 1000ft walk away from Boomland convenience store/ gas station/ tourist stop. so you can walk to get basic groceries.
it is right across the street from a city park walking loop which is great for stretching the legs and walking the dog.
the no-reservation honor-system payment made it easy for us to drive through the night, pull in at any time without any hassle.
while right off i 57, it is far enough away that you don’t really here much hwy traffic.
It was PERFECT for our week long stay, as we were looking for affordable place to camp for a week in route to our destination.
all sites are pull through, but just a tad cramped. still fine for 45 footers with multiple slide outs.
there looks to be only one rv that seems to be living here, the rest seem to be temporary.
the lawns are well attended to.
verizon coverage was great with full bar LTE.

KennyG
For Boomland RV Park and Campground: As reported, don’t expect much. But, it is just a place to get off the road. When we pulled in it was pouring rain, picked our site and hooked up. Immediately had electrical issues. Long story short, bad electricity. So basically we boondoggled for $12.

Dutchstar
For Boomland RV Park and Campground: It is just ok. Don’t expect much for $12. Level sites, electricity ,water, quiet, that’s about all you get. But would stay again for a night. No attendance just pull in pick site, put $12 in envelope , drop in box, that’s it.

Betty
For Boomland RV Park and Campground: For $12.00 per night and level sites, what is there to complain about. Only the bathrooms. They haven't been cleaned in I don't know when. If that problem was corrected the rating would be higher.

Pat king
For Boomland RV Park and Campground: Level spot, not much shade. Fun to walk over to the Boomland store. Good ice cream at Wallys cafeteria. For $12 was good for an overnight stay. Fairly quiet at night. No staff available at the campground, just put cash in the envelope.

Not a destination, but a place to stop overnight. Can't beat $12.00/night either! Right off I-57, pull in, pick a spot, put money in envelope. There is a place next door to shop and eat, buffet, pizza, ice cream. Did not go in any restrooms, so can't speak about them, full hookups were good for me.
