Paul

For Pine Grove Village Community: Wife & I stayed here 2 nights to view solar eclipse. Mgrs David & Robin are very friendly and accommodating. They even provided us with free eclipse viewing glasses. Sites are paved & have picnic table with trees, grass & gravel. No bathrooms/showers. Wifi(free) but not great. Still a nice park for a couple of nights stay.

Don

For Pine Grove Village Community: Don't bother. Go down the road the the Good Sam campground only three miles further and nearly the same cost. Quiet if they put you away from the hiway but... Spots are small and tight for >40 ft rigs, trees not trimmed properly for heights of most all rigs anymore. Granted, called the number at the office for late arrivals late, about 8pm, and the guy was not too friendly, sounded like he was put out that we called the number given and expected him to do his job - hmmm. Sewar hookup was actually uphill, water supply was in disrepair and park cable didn't work at all.
For a night on the road, just barely ok, but save yourself the frustration and drive 3 more miles.

Jane

For Pine Grove Village Community: Just a plain, simple place to stay for a night or two. Certainly adequate for a short stay. Part of a mobile home community. Nice staff!

Jim

For Pine Grove Village Community: Was west bound in early March, a lot of campgrounds were not yet open for the season. I called while about two hours out after finding them on the internet - and got a reservation.

The management was very friendly, escorted me to the site. Hookup was everything I expected - cable, wi-fi, water, sewer - all worked as expected.

I was only here for an overnighter, cooked my own dinner and breakfast and took off. It was fairly quiet - didn't really notice traffic noises, but since it was cold, I didn't have the windows open.

It's not a fancy resort, but if you need to stop overnight or even a couple of nights, it has everything you need and appears safe.
