For Howard Stafford Park and Lake: Stayed in out truck camper for two nights while attending a local wedding. This is a city park and is really nice for the limited budget I’m sure they’re operating on. There’s a small lake for fishing and lots of play equipment for the kiddos. Seems like there was around 20 sites. Site 9 was fine for the truck camper but some might be tight for a big rig. I did see a couple of big 5th wheels there that had no issues. The on-site manager will come and give you two keys. One for the gate that closes at 8:00pm and another for the campers only bathhouse. It had plenty of hot water but could stand a fresh coat of paint. I’d stay again if I found myself in the area.

For Howard Stafford Park and Lake: Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting friends nearby. Had 50 amp with water and sewer on a concrete pad! In a 38 foot diesel pusher. Had lake view with 3 splash pads, playgrounds, boat docks. Sites were a bit tight to get in, but doable. Each site has its own 33 gallon trash can and super large aluminum picnic table. Several bath houses, although old and moldy and cold. Friendly staff. Really liked this campground!
