For Fitzgeralds Casino: Simple parking lot boondocking. No trucks idling to bug me on this trip. There for 4 days. No problem. Security friendly. Well lit and safe. No hook up and no charge. Fitz Casino has "seniors" night Wednesday nights with the I think $27 buffet going for $5.50. And everybody is friendly. But behind it, go around the hotel on the left, then go just past the sign that says no through traffic maybe 15 feet and turn left thru the yellow gate and you are in a Mississippi River Park that is wonderfully maintained with the river 20 feet away and the barges going up and down. Very beautiful. No cost. They don't get the five for being fancy. They get the five because everybody is friendly, the buffets breakfast and lunch are a ten dollar bill and the park and the river are 3 minutes in first gear rolling 10 miles an hour from where you slept in the parking lot. For Fitzgeralds Casino: We parked in the large lot in front of the hotel along with other trucks and buses that kept their engines running all night. Otherwise, it was a good stay.
