For Oak Grove: This is a nice campground , but it is in need of quite a bit of renovation , its in a great area , with good access for fisherman , not very private sites like some of the COE campgrounds that we have stayed at and enjoyed greatly , sites are very close , and all on level ground, and in times of heavy rain , flooded in quite a few of the sites , it would be nice if the COE would upgrade this campground ..

For Oak Grove: We arrived after lots of rain and drove around looking for a campground to stay at overnight in our 40 ft diesel pusher. We needed to turn around and get back on the main road, however there was a car parked on the dirt road preventing us from using it.We decided (Stupidly!) to drive over the grassy area, pulling our tow, and make our way back to the main road. Within 50 feet we new we misread the condition of the area and dug the tires down trying to move forward. Long story short, after unhooking our car, a failed chain-pull attempt by a kind man and and his truck, and unloading half of our bay storage to lighten the load, we were saved by two of the most generous, professional, patient park rangers I have ever met. They lined there trucks up and hooked their winched onto our rv, slowly pulling is upon to the dirt road. We will forever be grateful! The park itself is very nice, large sites, with several full hookups. Hint **All sites are the same price, full or partial hookup. Definitely visit Oak Grove if you're in the area...just stay on the road.

For Oak Grove: Our first visit in the new trailer. We all had a great time. The site are large enough for all your toys. Clean public bathrooms. Good view of the lower lake which is big enough for fun but small enough to not be crowded.

For Oak Grove: Love this spot. It's called Oak Grove but there are some very big pines that keep a nice needle base on the ground. Place is always clean and grounds are groomed. They just added several slips on the lower lake for campers to leave boats over night without having to trailer every time. Very nice place.
