For KOA Journey Meridian East Toomsuba: Very nice, well maintained RV park. Easy in/out level site. Hostess very nice and helpful. Stayed in a 40’ MH. Road from Interstate to park is very narrow mile and a half.

Jenn

For KOA Journey Meridian East Toomsuba: Nice shaded campground. Staff were helpful. Easy to pull in and out of sites. Concrete site pad was broken but decently level. We had full hook ups at our site. Bathrooms were clean. Pool was very nice, but the slide was closed. There doesn’t seem to be much around, but there is a Dollar General on the opposite side of the interstate. Office has some basic supplies in their store and they serve breakfast each morning. Overall a nice campground.

Al Gallia

For KOA Journey Meridian East Toomsuba: A very welcomed 'find' off I-20! Some apps gave low rating and didn't reflect todays campground. The operators are very friendly and accommodating and this upgraded KOA was perfect for us. Several concrete full hookup sites and many camping sites with E/W. Nice shady pines! Beautiful large pool and waterslide! Store, snack shack (burgers👍), propane and dump. Bottom line...a very nice KOA! We'll be back!

Just a country boy

For KOA Journey Meridian East Toomsuba: BEWARE: the bridge between the interstate and the campground has a 6,000 pound weight limit (it’s just south of the Love’s truck stop). Anything larger than a minivan has to drive MILES around on other tiny roads with low tree branches to get to this campground. They took my reservation for a 32 foot super C motorhome and my money. No way a rig our size can get there...12ft 8 inches tall and 22,500 lbs. Even my f-250 is over the limit completely empty!

Elizabeth

For KOA Journey Meridian East Toomsuba: I give this KOA 4 stars because it was perfect for a one night stop. Quiet, friendly people, easy in and out, helpful staff, big bathrooms. My husband and I aren't too picky on one nighters. The owners should invest in upgrades because they are needed in bathrooms, around the campground and in particular sites. Our sight was level, but others weren't and facilities are old and in need of upgrade.

For KOA Journey Meridian East Toomsuba: I would NEVER recommended this campground. Pool was green most of the summer and was not opened. The water slide was working about two weeks. When it was working the pool at the bottom was nasty. It had lizards in it and was dirty with leaves and pine needles in it. In the men and women restrooms none of the outlets worked. There was no gravel on. Fences was broke and hanging. The staff was very unfriendly and dressed unappropriated for a family site.
