For Piney Campground: Excellent Boondocking site. The views are spectacular to the northwest across the lake. But, this campsite might best be called Pine Stump campground because most of the trees have been logged and it is quite open with little shade. The pads vary in level-ness so it may be difficult to find one to suit your rig. There are boat launches available. The camp host was selling firewood and fires were allowed, even though this is very heavy fire season to the west of here in Washington State and Oregon. We were told by our neighbor that they and their dogs had leaches after swimming. Boating and fishing occurred all day.
