For Johnsons Of St Mary Campground and RV Park: Close to east entrance of Glacier National Park. Check out your site before you pay because many have no sewer. The roads are gravel and very dusty. Sites are on mostly grass and ours had pot holes. Our site on lower level was not very level. Need a token to use showers, and bathrooms could qualify as historic! They were clean but very outdated. There is a restaurant on site that got lousey reviews for service. Bottom line...go somewhere else if it is nicer.

For Johnsons Of St Mary Campground and RV Park: Bathrooms for this campground are woefully inadequate for the number of campers during peak season if you aren't fully self contained. They obviously haven't updated them in several years. Showers are included in price but require tokens from the office. Laundry facilities were overcrowded with 6 washers and only 4 working dryers at the time. Full hookup sites have nice view but are stacked close enough that fire rings aren't allowed in that loop. The tent sites were intermingled around a group site (that had 25 campers). Consider this campground only as a reservable spot prior to entering Glacier.

For Johnsons Of St Mary Campground and RV Park: Not many choices for campgrounds in St Mary but I can't imagine any are worse than this one. For the price I would have expected a whole lot more. Obviously the owners have not reinvested any money into this park or made any updates since the 1970s. Our site was level but that was the only positive. Sewer connections are situated so that you are greeted with your neighbors sewer connection just out your front door and uphill. Could not screw the sewer line attachment into the outlet so that might explain why the previous occupant of our site dumped most of their black tank onto the ground and running down into lower site. Low water pressure, non-existent Internet, narrow spaces which are either gravel or dirt. We stayed here in a travel trailer..

For Johnsons Of St Mary Campground and RV Park: Campground located at West side of Glacier National Park. Facilities are very dated. Bathroom shower appeared clean but well used. Shower curtains repaired with duct tape and needed replacing. Tokens required for water use which are sold only at camp office. RV sites sit on a hill above camp office and are small and un-level for most part. Great view of East Glacier though. Traffic along camp roads at all hours of night and free-ranging cows wandering through campground as well. Water pressure at camp sites marginal at best. Advertise WiFi which can only be accessed at camp office. Good Sam discount but overpriced.

For Johnsons Of St Mary Campground and RV Park: Staff was friendly- not what I expected based on trip advisor reviews. Small unlevel sites. Nice shade. Baths need updating, and seem unclean- but I think it's the age really. PAY SHOWERS THAT REQUIRE SPECIAL TOKENS ONLY AVAILABLE IN OFFICE DURING OFFICE HOURS! Wish they'd mentioned that on check in. No campfires either! Can't really recommend. In laws stayed across the street at the KOA. No shade there but lg level sites- modern clean restrooms no pay shower, and full amenities! Awesome store! And fire rings for campfires.

For Johnsons Of St Mary Campground and RV Park: We arrived after closing. The owner was still around and made sure we were looked after. We recommend the cafe. The food was great, the atmosphere great, and the service friendly.
