For Morrow Mountain State Park: Shaded gravel sites, most fairly level. Some with electric, none with water or sewer. Poor cell reception and no WiFi. Sites are spaced nicely and there are plenty of walking trails. Cost for an electric site was $28/night.

For Morrow Mountain State Park: This is still one of our favorite close by campgrounds to visit. It has gone downhill a little over the last two years but it is still a very nice place to stay. The scenery is beautiful but the staff is overbearing a little bit.

For Morrow Mountain State Park: This is a very large state park with many amenities. Steeped in history and very beautiful. There are many signs but none are particularly useful. My favorite was a directional sign indicating group camping one way and "family" camping the other way. Im a single guy so guess no camping for me! There is no sign indicating the process for finding a site so you have to figure it out on your own. WARNING the park office parking lot is not rv friendly) In its hey day this must have been an awesome park. There are many hiking trails a museum, boat launch on a beautiful lake, historic homesite and cemetery, large day facility and even a pool (closed but posted hours suggested it should have been open?).
Sadly it is suffering from neglect. The grass in my loop was over a foot tall and the washroom, although very nice and clean, hadnt been painted in years. What they do put there money in is rule enforcement. A park ranger drives thru every 5 minutes, no joke. I was spoken to within 5 minutes of parking because my little dog was off lead. A nice quiet place to stay and the CG hosts were very nice and informative. But the price is high for a state park and the facilities are neglected.
