For Black Forest Family Camping: Nice campground all spots under tall trees. Nicely spaced and terraced with fairly level gravel pads. It rained most of the 12 days we were there and had no problem with mud or puddles. Nice clean bathrooms with showers. 3 washers/dryers which we used 2x at $1.50 a pop. Pebbletec pool was large with newer white lounge chairs. Spacious playground, swings, volleyball court with enough flat grassy area to practice soccer. WiFi was a bit spotty and went out several times even with a booster. One bar on my ATT cell. I could still call and send messages. There is a great woodsy trail starting to the right of space 404. Hosts were friendly and helpful. One trash dump area next to office. We enjoyed this RV resort.

For Black Forest Family Camping: Nice campground. Sites are spaced well and fully equipped, including two sewer hookups in each site (front and rear). WiFi is okay in same areas of the campground, cell phone reception is poor (one bar with Verizon, no service with other carriers). The gravel road from the highway to the campground office is about 1/4 mile long, steep and narrow. Fortunately we did not encounter anyone going in the opposite direction because it would have been challenging! Camp store is well stocked, owner is very friendly, other campers are very friendly! Our rate was $44 per night.

For Black Forest Family Camping: Nice family campground. The family that runs the place are nice and helpful. Traveling to the campground from SC over Ceasers Head is doable so long as you have plenty of towing/engine to make it up a long, steep climb with many switchbacks. The staff provided alternate directions that go around that is an easier drive. I preferred to just go over Ceasers Head with my 36’ fifth wheel. The location is awesome. There are numerous hiking trails and waterfalls within a very short drive of the campground. The pool is good sized and very nice and clean. We will return without a doubt.

For Black Forest Family Camping: This campgound says it accepts big rigs but not for the faint at heart. Road up is very narrow and curvy (we have 40ft class A) and had to unhook our vehicle 30-40 mins away (thank goodness they suggested this). the rule to not checkin before 3pm (very late by most standards) is because the road accepts only one larger vehicle going one way. Wifi sketchy until the camper next to us left and we were the only ones in our cove area then no probs. ATT service not available at all (and throughout most of area). Largest inconvenience & very frustrating is driving in/out of camping area and having to get out of your vehicle to lower/raise the rope across the road (they say to stop people from driving through). If it had been raining while there we would have "broken the rules". Their flyer says they provide trash pickup but they made it clear, on more than one occasion, to tell us where to dump our trash.
