For Cross Country Campground: Nice park for shorter stays. Office personnel are the high point. Helped us with some conmunication/fax issues. A a fisherman, I found it hyper-irritating that no watercraft ( kayak, canoe) are allowed in their large fishing pond. A potentially huge plus down the drain.

For Cross Country Campground: We stayed here at Cross Country Campground for 3 Nights in August of 2017. We stayed during the weekdays and were not huge fans of this campground. It has a fantastic location. I was here for work, it was pretty close to that, as well as close to a state park or two that we visited, as well as a county park for hiking in the afternoons. Our site was littered with trash, water balloons, lego, etc. We were in the back of the campground and did not have any wifi access at our site. The bathrooms were kept very clean, but we used our full hookups in this one because of how far away the bathrooms were from our site. Maybe 90-95% Full Time Residents at this campground, lots of teenagers riding around on golf carts at all times of the day. Dog owners around our site area did not follow the leash rules, so random large dogs would come by and bark at our dogs which were inside the camper. Our site was in Full Sun, and in August that was not the best. Our picnic table was situated at the sewer hookup to the next site over, so we didn't use that either. Overall, we would probably only come back here if we can't find anything else. May be better for families since they have a pool, arcade, mini-golf etc. We did not use any of those amenities.

For Cross Country Campground: We come here for short-term stays when in the area to visit family. They have a 14-day limit for short-term stays, then you have to leave for a few days before returning for another 14 days. Holidays esp Halloween are always packed. We stay in a FHU 50 amp pull-thru on the lot near the pool which is adjacent to the highway. The office staff are helpful and accommodating once they get to know you better. It's an older park, they keep the sites minimally maintained, wifi is free but weak in spots, water pressure is great. Dog breed restrictions apply - no chows, pits, Dobermans, Rottweilers or mixed breeds with any of those in them. There are A LOT of permanent and seasonal residents here. Great for overnight or short stays.

For Cross Country Campground: Stayed here as a long-term. Because we had a 39' fifth-wheel we were sent to the back lot. We found out that it is almost like being ostracized. There was a deposit, $250. We stayed from May till the end of August. We have yet to receive our deposit back. Every excuse has been presented. Will not stay here again. Moved to KOA in Statesville and much happier.
