For Mayo Park: Campsites are on edge of gravel rd. Not set back at all. Everyone that walks or drives by is heard. All the locals come and bring golf carts, drive all the time. 95% full on weekend. Only one bathroom at far end. Gates are supposed to close at 8pm. Ranger said he left them open to 11. Site next door had family of 4, invited friends total 6 cars 15 people. Other site had pit bull, on leash, off leash, on 20’ lead. Ran towards my dog, broke the lead. Thankfully owner called and it returned. Called and reported access to RV septic tank pump lid not locked, someone could open and fall in- not concerned. Staff is nice, but seems to be lip service, not enforcing own regulations. Best time is when everyone left Sunday. Only 2 of us remained in campground. It was VERY nice then. Overall park is nice, but will not camp on weekend again. Poor review due to campground and lack of oversight. Best sites 1,11,22,23,24,26
