For Jugtown Mountain Campsites: Very friendly and accommodating staff, got greeted by a few great pups and appreciated how friendly folks were. Easy in & out off the highway which is exactly what we wanted. Serves the purpose well. We’re already booked for 3 more stays over the next year!

For Jugtown Mountain Campsites: We needed a place to dump in the area. Good for that. You must back in but plenty of room to back in. $21 to dump. The only place near Somerville NJ. Would go back for dumping

For Jugtown Mountain Campsites: Not a traditional destination campground. The facility sells/services RV’s and trailers at the front of the property and offers RV and tent sites in the rear of the property. We stayed a week for my sons baseball tournament. It was perfect for our use. The site needs some maintenance, such as stone for the pad sites, general weed eating, etc. There were quite a few long term spots taken with construction guys. Everyone seemed nice and accommodating. The supply store was great and the rates were reasonable. If you’re looking for a spot near NY City or Philly, this is it.

For Jugtown Mountain Campsites: Pet friendly, clean bathroom, accommodating staff. Site was shaded had a fire ring and picnic table. Nice size swimming pool. Easy to get to off highway, though our GPS didn’t take us there, we called when we got off exit and the staff were friendly and gave us directions. Very easy to get to. 1 hr to NYC and 1 hr to Philly. Stayed 4 days in this rural part of NJ, scenic area. Will stay again next year on our trip,

For Jugtown Mountain Campsites: Not the place for any thing larger than a travel trailer. The dump site is a narrow back in alley with large trees, boulders, an rv site with a permanent huge rv, and cargo trailers they sell all obstacles to backing in to the dump station. The sites are also too narrow and out of level, surrounded by huge trees that make getting into the spot an exercise in geometry . It's one of the only options close to NYC and Philly but I'd bypass those cities before I'd stay here again. And bugs, did I mention bugs? There are zillions and zillions of tiny knat-like bugs that make being outside impossible.
