For KOA Journey Lordsburg: We were very happy we stayed here. As previous reviews mentioned, the neighborhood felt a little sketchy, but once you are inside the park it felt very secure. Staff was super helpful and the place was spotless. We did not use the laundry room and the pool was not open yet so didn’t use that either. I think all the spots were pull Throughs which was perfect for us. We were very surprised to see a 430 dinner offered as well as a free pancake breakfast. Pancakes for free, eggs etc. we’re not. Can’t say I’ve ever seen that in any other campsite we’ve been to! Cute little store inside, the people that run this place take their job very seriously and we felt secure and content during our overnight stay there. Will definitely go back again!

For KOA Journey Lordsburg: Manager was rude and arrogant. He released his dogs in the evening for security and they growled at us and showed their teeth very aggressively. When we reported this, the manager spoke angrily in Spanish and parked his truck where he could watch our unit the rest of the evening.
I will NOT RISK my family’s safety here again.
Veterans park is free boondocking less than 1/2 mile away

For KOA Journey Lordsburg: Good overnight spot near I 10. A little hard to find, tucked in behind a residential area
Near a grocery. Did not use pool or restrooms. No Wi Fi access from our spot. Dog walk. Has camping cabins and tent sites. Minimal grass and landscaping. Watch trees as you pull in and out of your space. They are short and can catch on sides of RV. Back row has lots of room and you can buddy camp if you are traveling with friends.

For KOA Journey Lordsburg: 5 stars for a KOA Journey; well laid out, clean and manager was extremely helpful. We don’t use amenities so can’t speak to that or the WiFi as we don’t need it. Easy access from I-10. I will definitely come back.

For KOA Journey Lordsburg: The KOA at Lordsburg KOA does not meet the normal KOA standards. The campwide internet is advertised is false. We tried to explain that it did not work to the man at the desk. He was arrogant and would not even step outside so I could show him. We checked in with a woman and she put us in a spot that was too small. Expertise is lacking.
