For Cochiti Lake: We were in the upper Juniper loop. Although the sites were mainly level and spacious, many had the electrical post far from the pad. Water posts were really far away, and unusable to most. My main concern was the disgusting condition of the bathhouse. The one in the loop was closed, and the next closest one was so dark, old, stinky, a filthy that I could not use it! Really bad!! Most ACE campgrounds are lovely and well maintained. Sad to say, Juniper loop was not.

For Cochiti Lake: Very disappointed in this park and staff. Do not book in Juniper Loop, no shade awnings or views. Spoke to gate keeper twice about booking site 7, neither mentioned that the bathroom/shower house was out of order in Juniper. After checking in we found the problem and were advised be gatekeeper that we could walk down the hill in 100 degree heat to a shower house in another loop. That shower house was minimal at best, only one shower operational in ladies side and not well maintained. Also they required a 2 night min stay on weekend. We finally left campground about 2hrs after checking in . If I could give negative stars I would

For Cochiti Lake: Peaceful, SUPER quiet and dark skies! A lovely COE Park with clean bath houses in all but the Juniper loop. Hosts were amazing! As a bonus just outside the park is a gas station/convenience store with a clean and cheap laundromat in the same strip shop. Two big loads only cost us $5. Would definitely return!!

For Cochiti Lake: Nice quiet place. Clean bathroom and showers. Electric and water, plus dump station. Close to Santa Fe. $20 per night unless you have an interagency pass, then it's $10.

For Cochiti Lake: Would give 4 stars except we were in juniper loop. If we come back through won't stay if spots aren't available in Buffalo loop. Bring long hose if you are staying in juniper. Water hookup was a little over 50ft away. Also didn't realize September was the month for tarantulas to migrate! Eek!!

For Cochiti Lake: All the previous is true. Great ACoE Park. I’ll add the dark skies are so great for viewing the Milky Way, aircraft, satellites, meteors.

For Cochiti Lake: Love the views, electric and water only but for 3 days all we needed. Dumps are available close by in the Park. Out of Santa Fe but only thirty easy miles. Clean restrooms and decent spots up top where it’s an older area, center spots are electric and water, outside spots are only electric. Lower area is newer and can be reserved online but on a weekend we had no problem getting a spot. Just get here early. Decent cell phone with T mobile.
