For Santa Rosa Campground RV Park: Second stay here but just found this site. Hot in New Mexico! But a great clean pool and bathrooms
here, easy pull thrus some really long. No problems, WIFI was great as well as cable. We reuped
for another day. Some fun stuff to do in town. We are in a MH.

Vern B

For Santa Rosa Campground RV Park: not much to see or expect. it's a stop on a long road to somewhere.
easy in and out. the office staff could use some people skills.

Dry-N-Dusty

For Santa Rosa Campground RV Park: The place was unkept and run down; the cable tv didn't work, the WiFi didn't work; the restroom floor had dried, muddy footprints all over even though it had not rained during our stay; the circuit breakers for electric hookup for our site and the adjoining site were reverse wired; there was only a single water connection for our site and the adjoining site. Fortunately, our neighbor with whom we were suppose to share the water connection had a Y coupler and said he would be happy to share. The pet exercise area was nothing but nasty stickers. I got yelled at by the management (owner?) for walking the dogs in a grassy area across the driveway from the manager's living quarters. When I mentioned the pet area was full of stickers and the dogs couldn't even walk through there, his sarcastic reply was, "welcome to New Mexico." When mentioned without any anger the cable and WiFi were not working, his response was, "that's your problem, not mine" and walked away.?

Fellow campers also mentioned being treated very rudely by office staff.

We've been away for about 24 hours and are still picking up stickers off our floor from the stay there.

I cannot imagine how this place has gotten such inaccurate ratings or even stays in business. This place does not exude rustic New Mexico charm, it's simply a dump.
