For KOA Journey Tucumcari: This KOA was OK. Pull Thru sites were adequate but narrow. There were plenty of pull thru sites and not many campers. As such, instead of spreading people out, providing more room we were all sandwiched together in one row. On the plus side it was close to the showers/restrooms which were dated but clean. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend this campground to all who may be traveling I-40. Easy access on and off the Interstate.

For KOA Journey Tucumcari: We camp in tents and had a good stay at this campground. There were plenty of spaces for tents with electricity and water. The tent sites were grassy and fairly close to the bath house. And there were no big lights shining over the campground! It was really windy when we set up and the folks around us jokingly told us we were going to be blown to Kansas! They also promised to let us know if anything severe came up.

For KOA Journey Tucumcari: What a terrific stay at the Tucumcari KOA! After a hot, long driving day we were welcomed by very friendly people, shown to a nice, shady spot and told about their cafe menu and even the option to have our food delivered to our RV. The owners obviously put a lot of effort into their campground. Bathroom, incl showers, were spotless and we did try food from the cafe too and it was excellent. We'll be back!

For KOA Journey Tucumcari: We didn't require wifi or use of their facilities so I can't remark on those. We weren't able to get the cable to work, that could have been use using a new rig. Gravel sites were clean, staff was very friendly, and while quite a few people were here it was really quiet.

For KOA Journey Tucumcari: Our family stayed here on an over night on our way to the Grand Canyon. If you need a nights stay in the area, it's quick access to the highway, clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Rocking Ro
For KOA Journey Tucumcari: Very few options in Tucumcari! Camp has basic but does have pull thru option. Friendly staff and they will serve dinner to your site if requested. Sites were dirt and we had a big dust storm that put dust every where. Bathrooms are outdated but clean. WiFi worked well.

CALGAL from Texas
For KOA Journey Tucumcari: I recently stayed in one of their cabins, but it was a bit worn and there were stains on the mattresses. The cabins are located far away from the highway so you don't really hear the highway noise. Restrooms were clean and the shower was good. Unlike a previous reviewer I did have hot water. If you stay here and can make it into the town of Cortez, I would highly recommend going to the Main St. Brewery, especially if you are a fan of beers.
